Meet the Founders

Dr. Marashi is a board-certified OB/GYN, author, and founder of Cerē. Dr. Marashi has over twenty years of experience in the medical field, and was the first doctor in the U.S. to host an official cosmetic gynecology rotation for OB/GYN residency training. 

In 2020, Dr. Marashi published A Woman’s Right to Pleasure, a distinctive collection of over 200 works and original texts from over 60 of the world’s most important and well-recognized female-identifying artists, writers and creative thinkers from around the globe.

Meet the Founders

Dr. Kimberly Lovie Murdaugh is a scientist, doctor, and filmmaker with degrees from Harvard University and Yale School of Medicine. Combining her expertise in chemistry, engineering, medicine, and radiology, Dr. Murdaugh develops innovative tools for sexual health.

Utilizing the clitoral ultrasound protocol she developed, she conducts groundbreaking research on the clitoris to understand how clitoral anatomy and blood flow are affected by menopause, vulvar surgery, radiation therapy, and the use of sexual tools and gels. She teaches the clitoral ultrasound protocol to physicians and sexual health researchers around the United States, and collaborates with universities and teaching hospitals on research projects to expand our understanding of female sexual health.

  • Women have fewer orgasms than men—this is called the orgasm gap. Studies show that 70-85% of men orgasm during sex, but only 46-58% of women do. This happens because female pleasure often gets less attention. Many women don’t get enough clitoral stimulation
